Even upon his return from the U.S.A. with his family, he immediately reported to duty, without missing a beat, to his post as the second in helm of the Shogaku Group while working into the late nights to complete his dissertation.
Dr. Nashiro, representing the doctoral degree candidates at the commencement held on 7 June 2009, made an unforgettable humorous five minute speech. The speech received laughter and round of applause from the audience and his colleagues.
