Impressive Performance at 58th All Okinawa English Speech Contest

On September 22nd (Friday), at the Okinawa Prefectural Comprehensive Education Center, the 58th All-Okinawa High School English Speech Contest was held. In the contest, organized by the Okinawa Prefecture High School Culture Federation and the Okinawa Prefecture High School English Education Research Association, Ami Chinen won first place in category 1 (no overseas experience), and Reina Kamiya secured second place in Part 2 (with overseas experience), making it a double win! Ami Chinen, who won first place, will be dispatched to the Kyushu competition in Miyazaki prefecture scheduled for October 28th.

Ami Chinen presented under the title “Pursue Your Dreams,” and Reina Kamiya under the title “Where You Belong.” Both effectively incorporated gestures and expressions while expressing their opinions in English.

Ami Chinen, the category 1 winner, expressed, “I’m very happy. I want to do my best in the Kyushucom petition!” Let’s look forward to Ami Chinen’s performance at the Kyushu competition!
